MLechny Put 2026
Hey everyone!
Happy to share that I'll be speaking for the third year in a row at what used to be a meetup and is now a full-fledged conference: MLechny Put by Selectel (Selectel's ML meetup, "Milky Way" in Russian). It's especially nice for me that the home-grown MLOps meetup I started out with has grown into a conference, and keeps growing every year, not just in scale, but in quality too!

What will I be talking about?
In past years I talked about bottlenecks in ML systems and how to pick infrastructure for LLMs, topics that are still relevant!
This year I decided to build a track around platformizing AI systems, so I'll share my experience building ML and inference platforms, their evolution, and the pitfalls at each stage.
We'll walk through the path from a DevBox with JupyterLab to a centralized platform with 500 weekly active users, and also take a look at the future of agentic platforms. As practical examples, I'll show how to manage dozens of teams with quotas and queues in Kueue, build your own JupyterLab with remote kernels without idle GPU time, set up distributed training on Kubeflow pipelines, and much more :)
